A bit about me…

I’ve been helping businesses and organizations enhance their visibility, value and bottom line as an independent professional writer and communications consultant since 1992. Prior to launching Susan McConnell Communications, I toughened my PR, fundraising and management “chops” in the nonprofit arena. I remain passionate about serving third sector organizations — they’re the vital underpinnings of healthy, vibrant communities.

I bring a dedicated marketing mindset to every project, as well as complete project management and other capabilities that go beyond writing to the full spectrum of strategic communications.

I can work with your in-house design team and preferred vendors or provide a total turnkey solution. I ask good questions, am quick on the uptake and work well independently or as part of a team. That means quality work, according to spec, on time, for a reasonable cost.
